Ingredients
- •4 oz pancetta, diced
- •12 oz frozen peas
- •1 cup water
- •4 servings [pesto](http://www.xanthir.com/recipes/showrecipe.php?id=id99)
- •1 cup orzo, uncooked
- •2 tbsp Parmesan, grated
Steps
- 1Cook pancetta in a skilled with olive oil until crisp. Remove with slotted spoon.
- 2Meanwhile, bring 1 quart of water to a boil. Add 1 tbsp salt and orzo. Cook about 5 minutes or until al dente.
- 3Add frozen peas and water to the skillet; simmer until tender (about 5 minutes). Drain and return to skillet.
- 4Stir in pesto, orzo, pancetta, and parmesan, and heat through.
