Ingredients
- •4 tbsp butter
- •1 tbsp flour
- •1 tbsp corn starch
- •1 cup sugar
- •1 cup cane syrup, (Lyle's Golden Syrup or Steen's Cane Syrup)
- •2 tsp vanilla
- •2 eggs
- •1 cup chopped pecans
- •1 tsp cinnamon
- •1/4 tsp salt
- •1 pie shell
Steps
- 1Melt butter and combine with flour and corn starch. Stir until well blended. Combine sugar with butter mixture in sauce pan and boil for 3 minutes. Let cool to about 120 degrees.
- 2Beat eggs and combine vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Blend well.
- 3Comine all ingredients and blend well. This may require a mixer since the sugar mixture will be thick. Fold in pecans and pour into medium unbaked pastry shell.
- 4Bake on cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
