Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cup water
  • 1 packet hondashi (~1 tsp)
  • 3 tbsp miso
  • 1 tbsp sake (or mirin)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • add-ins (somen, seaweed, tofu, etc)
  • 1 green onion, sliced on the bias

Steps

  1. 1In a pan, bring water to a boil. Add hondashi, miso, sake, and sugar and stir until dissolved. Add a small amount of add-ins. Remove from heat. Place in serving bowls and garnish with green onion.
