Ingredients
- •2 clove garlic, minced
- •2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- •2 tsp italian seasoning
- •1 15oz can crushed Italian tomatoes
- •Salt and freshly ground pepper
Steps
- 1In a large frying pan over medium heat, saute the garlic in the olive oil until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the red pepper flakes, basil, oregano, and tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until thickened, about 20 minutes. Season to taste.
- 2Makes about 2 1/2 cups (20 fl oz/625mL)
