Ingredients

  • 1 large carrot, finely shredded or cut into matchsticks
  • 1/4 cup dashi stock
  • 1 tsp mirin
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Steps

  1. 1Put all the ingredients in a small pan and boil over high heat. Lower the heat and simmer for 4-5 minutes or until the carrot is tender. Drain and cool before packing.
