Ingredients
- •2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- •1 head broccoli
- •1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
- •1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- •salt and pepper
- •2 tsp grated lemon zest
- •1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- •1/4 cup parmesan, grated
- •1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
Steps
- 1In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Add broccoli, trimmed and cut into florets, and cook until broccoli begins to brown, 4 minutes. Add garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until broccoli is crisp and tender and garlic begins to brown, 3 minutes.
- 2Add red pepper flakes, season with salt and pepper, and transfer to serving bowl. Toss with lemon zest, lemon juice, parmesan, and walnuts. Serve warm or at room temperature.
